Mamegoma pattern!


It’s not planned but just in time! Lately I got amazing comments about amigurumi 🙂 Thank you.. I just finish my second mamegoma project, and here’s the pattern for you.. I got it from a site, a bit blurry on the bunny suit pattern but I hope you can still read it. Just use the duck suit pattern for the body..

    but…here is the problem i can’t read the japanese pattern… ;( ..
    From row 5 to 8. it’s too complicated to me. it doesnt look like an usual..i usually work 6 -> 12->18->….
    ‘-5′(row 5’s chart in picture2) means skip or dec? i tried both but it looks…..you know, terrible…;;
    i’m stuck in row 4. 😦 could you explain? it’s okay not too detail. i really want to have mamegoma… T_T

    i work
    row 1: 4 chains (4sts)
    row 2: 4sc on EA side for a total of 8sc (8sts)
    row 3 & 4 : work in following the pattern. (12sts,16sts)
    then… I lost.

      Yup it’s not an easy pattern, though.. I also made some mistakes before I can finally made the mamegoma

      I’ll try to write english version, I hope it’s useful..
      row 1 : 4 chains (4sts)
      row 2 : sc on 2nd ch from hook, sc, 3sc, sc, 2sc, sl st on first sc (8sts)
      row 3 : ch, sc on the 1st sc, sc, sc, 3sc, sc, sc, sc, 3sc, sl st on the first sc (12sts)
      row 4 : ch, sc on the 1st sc, sc, sc, 2sc, sc, 2sc, sc on the next 3 sc, 2sc, sc, 2sc, sl st on the first sc (16 sts)
      row 5 : ch, sc on every sc around, sl st on the first sc (16sts), fo.
      row 6 : work from the 13th stitch –> ch, sc on 4 next sc, 2sc, sc, sc, 2sc, sc on 3 next sc, fo (13sts)
      row 7 : skip 1 stitch from the first stitch of row 6 –> ch, sc, sc, 2sc, sc, 2sc, sc, 2sc, sc, sc, 2sc, sc, fo (15sts)
      row 8 : skip 1 stitch from the first stitch of row 7 –> ch, (sc, sc, 2sc) 4x, sc, fo (17sts)
